David and his husband Benjamin first went though surrogacy in Oregon in the US with a daughter born in August 2016. They used an anonymous egg donor and were fortunate enough to have an experienced surrogate carry for them. Their journey had one unsuccessful transfer and a few unforeseen delays but resulted in a healthy, happy baby girl. In December 2020 they returned again from theUS, at the height of Covid, with their second child, a son they named Teo. They will talk about the US process
