John and Zul have a 4 ½ year old daughter through traditional surrogacy. They were lucky enough to connect with a wonderful woman on-line that was looking to help out a gay couple, through surrogacy. After logistical difficulties arranging IVF with donor eggs, their surrogate suggested using her own eggs in a traditional surrogacy journey.  Although there were some concerns and legal uncertainties, the establishment of a strong trusting relationship with their surrogate before embarking on the journey, was key to a very intimate carefree journey.  John describes their story and how they built a relationship and ongoing friendship with their surrogate that continues to this day.
