Julia’s career has taken her from actress to marriage therapist to counsellor. A recipient of the Elizabeth II Trust Award for Young Australians (1996, 1997) she took an MA at the California Institute of Integral Studies in clinical psychology. She is a licenced Marriage and family Therapist. Julia has been in private practice since 2003, specialising in fertility support and the decision to use donor eggs, and its the impact on a family and/or couple. She understands this journey from the inside-out, having experienced eight miscarriages (two late term) and five rounds of unsuccessful IVF. When Julia was 42, her sister insisted on donating her eggs. After first transfer, Julia was pregnant, and the rest is history.
