Karen is mum to 20 year old Matt with the professional help from Center for Surrogate Parenting based in California and their Denver based surrogate.  From the sheep farm she and her husband run in the Riverina, Karen has become a tireless advocate for surrogacy law reform.  Her good sense and wise counsel have been huge assets through her roles over many years with Surrogacy Australia and the organising committee for the FTS conferences.
