Lee & Michael are an Australian couple who worked with Canadian Fertility Consulting as their agency to build family in Canada beginning in 2018. They required surrogacy due to Lee’s to unsuccessful IVF treatment, fertility issues etc, being diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Lee and Michael felt comfortable travelling to Canada given the network of professionals available to assist. They are now the happy parents to little Eva born in January this year! Despite the cold weather and the covid pandemic, they had a great time, many special memories, and especially forming an even better relationship with their Surrogate in person, whom they keep in touch with. Travelling during covid added an extra layer of complexity and paperwork, but it was achievable with some extra work, organisation and determination.
Lee will share their experience of the Canadian process.
