Shavone is a 28 year old Adelaide mother of two young children and whilst she had no trouble conceiving or carrying, by being involved in parenting forums had her eyes opened up to other’s infertility struggles and wished she could help somehow. Joining the Australian Surrogacy Community in 2015 she met with a Sydney-based single intended mother Julie through the community and made an offer to carry for her in January 2016. After the requisite counselling and four embryo transfers Shavone fell pregnant and gave birth in March 2018.
