Shell is married with four children aged between 12 and 22 and lives in Taree! Being a surrogate is something she had talked about since her first pregnancy. Her husband and kids were very supportive of the idea when she decided to look into it more. Shell first contacted her recipients after a post on the Surrogacy Community page in early 2018. They got to know each other over the year. Fast forward to the end of 2018, their team were approved for transfer. Due to Shell not being well, they held off on first transfer till April 2019. It was successful and resulted in a beautiful little girl  born on 27 December. This journey has  given Shell two amazing new friends.
