How Professional
Introductions Work

Advice tailored for you.

At Growing Families, we understand how deeply personal and complex the journey to parenthood through surrogacy or donor conception can be. Trust matters, and this page explains how we approach recommendations so you can feel confident about the providers we connect you with.

How Do We Decide Who to Recommend?

Our recommendations are guided by one clear principle: finding the best fit for your unique needs. We carefully consider your goals, values, and challenges, and then match you with providers who meet our strict standards for ethics, quality, and transparency. Only providers who have passed our thorough vetting process and align with your specific situation will be introduced.

Our recommendations are exactly that: recommendations. We don’t push any single provider. Instead, we advise you to consider at least two providers in the region or service area you’re exploring.

From there, you have the opportunity to speak directly with those providers, ask questions, and decide which one feels right for your unique journey. Our role is to connect you with trusted options, not to make the decision for you.

Provider Fees

When a provider chooses to work with Growing Families, their fees support a structured system that helps maintain high standards, promote learning and connect families with trusted professionals. Here’s how it works:

Growing Connections Membership

All providers start by joining Growing Connections, our professional membership network. This membership gives providers access to:

• Ongoing education through online meetings and resources

• Industry insights and trends

• Tools to strengthen their services and client care

Membership does not automatically mean a provider will be recommended to intended parents. It does, however, allow them to apply for verification.

Verification

Verified providers are those who have successfully completed our review. This process examines services, client feedback, contract inclusions, and adherence to professional standards of care and best practices. When it comes to agencies, we encourage intended parents to only work with verified providers.

There are no additional fees for verification beyond the Growing Connections membership.

Partners

Some verified providers choose to become Partners. This involves an investment to access benefits such as:

• Marketing support and increased visibility with our audience

• Event and webinar sponsorship opportunities

• Collaboration with Growing Families to produce content that educates and supports intended parents

Partners agree to give back to the community by contributing content, guidance, and expertise, helping families navigate the surrogacy journey more effectively.

Do Providers Pay to Be Introduced?

No. But some providers from some countries pay Growing Families a one-off referral fee if an intended parent ultimately chooses to proceed with them. Neither IVF clinics nor law firms are permitted to pay referral fees.

Our partners do not pay referral fees. Partners pay us for access to valuable services designed to improve their organisation, grow their business, enhance their credibility and ensure they reach the families who need them most.

Our introductions are always based on one thing: what’s right for the individual or couple in front of us. We work with you to understand your goals, challenges, and values, and only then connect you with professionals who are the best fit. Payment never influences this process

What This Means for You

Provider fees help us run events, create resources and provide ongoing support without passing the entire cost to families. But more importantly, it helps us build a network of providers who are:

That means you don’t have to start from scratch or wade through biased online forums. You get access to clear, trusted options based on what you need.

No provider is ever introduced unless we genuinely believe they are right for you.

Your Feedback Matters

We do our best to carefully verify and monitor the practices of every provider we recommend, ensuring they subscribe to safe and transparent practices. But no system is perfect, and your firsthand experiences are invaluable to us.:

If you’ve worked with a provider we introduced you to, we encourage you to share your feedback. Whether positive or constructive, your insights help us:
