Andrew is a father by egg donation from a known donor After his wife Bronwyn was diagnosed with Ovarian failure, the couple were advised they had three choices. They could keep trying, with little or no chance of success; they could try adoption or opt for egg donation. Bronwyn decided that she wanted any children to have a genetic link to at least one of us so egg donation it was. They recruited their own donor. However the first donor cycle failed. A second donor cycle produced Tamzin. Third and fourth cycles resulted in miscarriages. A fifth cycle produced a boy Ewan.
