Manor Baby is an international leading egg donation company. For the past 15 years, we have had the honour and true privilege of bringing new smiles to life and accompanying over 5,500 intended parents in their journey to becoming families. We wake up every day with this true passion in our hearts to help create and expand families.

Manor Baby is known for its highest standards of quality and safety in the healthcare field in providing fertility solutions. Our donor process is medically supervised and managed by a team of fertility experts and scientists. We strive to give both intended parents and donors the most attentive care possible.

Regulations are very strict in some countries around the world, the egg donation process might be long and difficult in others. Therefore, many intended parents turn to international solutions, requiring our services and expertise. We offer in Australia egg donation services from Ukraine and Georgia. We are convinced that this geographic spread will help us put together a tailor-made program that suits every intended parent’s personal and unique needs.

What is Egg Donation?

Egg donation involves a woman (donor) providing her eggs to recipients needing help to conceive.  The donor undergoes medication to stimulate egg production, and eggs are retrieved from the donor by placing a needle that is attached to an ultrasound probe through the vaginal tissues.  The eggs are gently aspirated (suctioned) from the ovaries.  Once retrieved, the eggs are vitrified (frozen) ready to be shipped to the recipient’s clinic for embryo creation.

Who needs Egg Donation?

Many people can benefit from the use of international donor eggs and in some cases it’s the best way to ensure a healthy pregnancy. There is a wide variety of reasons people may require the assistance of an egg donor to create their family. Some of these include:

  • Older women with age related fertility decline.
  • Same sex male couples/singles – require the assistance of an egg donor as neither partner has their own biological eggs. Other people from the LGBTQIA+ community may also require the assistance of an egg donor.
  • Women born with no ovaries or following the loss of one or both ovaries (following trauma or surgery).
  • Following cancer treatment, which may have resulted in the damage or loss of the remaining eggs.
  • If there is a risk of passing on a genetic condition through use of the eggs.
  • Compromised or poor egg quality – some women undergo early menopause or have an insufficiency of eggs where the number and quality of their eggs is poor.
  • After several unsuccessful IVF (In vitro fertilization) attempts, there may be a need to seek assistance.

Our team at Manor Baby are here to support you in deciding whether egg donation is right for you.

Moving forward with Egg Donation

The team at Manor Baby understands that the use of an egg donor may be complex and a life changing decision to make.

The decision to move forward with egg donation requires information and support to assist intended parents with all the options available. It is recommended to discuss your own individual situation and requirements with our Patient Operations Team, your Fertility Specialist and your clinic donor team.

In Australia counselling of all parties involved in the donation is mandatory. This allows intended parents to explore their thoughts and feelings about the use of an egg donation in creating their family. Counselling is also required to discuss implications, state and national legislations. Your clinic can assist you in organizing your counselling sessions.

It is important to consider what is best for you and the welfare of the child born through donor conception. Counselling can assist in this process. Things which may be explored in counselling are:

  • Grief and loss in relation to the intended parent’s fertility and their initial hopes to have their own genetic family.
  • The level of agreement between a couple (if applicable) about the use of donated eggs.
  • Understanding the legislative framework of egg donation.
  • Having a child who is not genetically related to one or both parents.
  • Parenting alone, in the case of a single intending parent.
  • Rights of and disclosure to the child – research has proven that donor conceived people do best if they know how they were conceived and have easy access to information about their donor and their genetic origins.
  • Why, how and when to tell a child about their genetic origins.
  • A child’s possible future interest in contacting the donor and how they may do this.
  • Who will be told about the donation?
  • The possibility the donation may not be successful.

All of our donors complete an initial psychology session as well as a counselling session with our Australian New Zealand Fertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA) counsellor.  This is both an Australian and state legislation requirement.

Choosing the best Manor Baby Egg Donation Program

At Manor baby we offer two egg donor programs, this includes guarantees for egg thawing and embryo creation.

Each donation cycle is unique, and the number of eggs collected can vary with each donor’s cycle. If a Donor has her egg collection and the number of eggs collected does not match the egg program you have chosen, once we have heard from your clinic we will be in touch to discuss your options further.

  • Our programs guarantee 8 (standard) or 16 (premium) quality vitrified donor eggs. More eggs mean higher chances of achieving a successful pregnancy.
  • In all programs, you can add eggs to the program, we can tailor make a program which suits your needs and have these shipped to your clinic (priced separately).
  • At Manor Baby, egg vitrification is performed by experienced Clinical Embryologists. Around 95% percent of the oocytes survive the process, which compares well with leading clinics in the world.
  • 8 vitrified egg donor program – you will receive one batch of 8 donor eggs.  Manor Guarantee entails the creation of up to 2 high quality blastocysts (day 5-6 embryos.)
  • 16 vitrified egg donor program – One batch of 16 donor eggs. Manor Guarantee entails the creation of up to 4 high quality blastocysts (day 5-6 embryos.)
  • If guarantee is not met, one additional batch of donor eggs (the same number as your chosen program) will be sent to your clinic and will not impose extra fees for this one additional batch or for the transportation fees.
  • IVF and your embryo transfer cycle will be completed at your local clinic at additional costs.
