After 3 failed transfers with a Canadian surrogate, Caroline & Mark had used all their embryos so were exploring options when their Canadian lawyer called to say that clients of hers had completed their family and were looking to donate embryos which they were delighted to receive. They then matched with a Brisbane based surrogate through the Australian Surrogacy Community; and to cut a long story short, including shipping embryos back to Brisbane in the middle of COVID with the help of Growing Families (which arrived in Sam Everingham’s laundry), their son was born 2 years ago.
