Nicole and her husband attempted to have a child for many years via IVF. Over four gruelling years, Nicole underwent countless procedures to achieve her dream of being a mother but unfortunately none were successful. Nicole’s best friend offered to carry a child for Nicole and her husband and as a result, they commenced their surrogacy journey in late 2016. Nicole’s surrogate became pregnant after the first transfer and their baby was born in December 2017. Nicole is also a lawyer and has a special interest in reproductive law given her own personal story.
