Pia is a Danish mum of two boys aged 15 and 18. A year ago, at the age of 43 Pia was a gestational surrogate for her gay brother and his husband. Given egg donation is not allowed in Denmark, they travelled to the US for an egg donor and the IVF for embryo transfer. Her brother in law provided the sperm and on January 29 this year Pia gave birth to her niece Anna. Pia will talk about the process of carrying for a family member and the impact on her own life
