For Robin Newman, the emotional and financial strain of infertility wrecked her marriage. Single at 45, she travelled the world to rediscover a meaningful direction. Her Global Egg Donors program was conceived in South Africa. In ten years it has grown to include clinics in Barbados, Canada, India, Greece, Poland and the USA, providing ethnically diverse donors from 18 countries. Robin’s donors have provides the eggs in the pudding for over 560 babies through surrogacy including many Australians.
