Sam is a single gay dad from Melbourne who defied the odds and chased his dreams all the way into fatherhood. This guy was lucky enough to find his incredible surrogate by sharing his story with everyone he met and having it passed down a chain of friends of friends until it reached her ex-husband who gave her Sam’s details. A few coffee dates, counselling sessions, and legal agreements later (2 years), and they decided to take a leap of faith and give traditional surrogacy a go. After a year of at-home inseminations and a pretty smooth pregnancy, Sam finally became the father of a healthy baby girl.
