Sharon O’Shea

Sharon O’Shea is a diminutive hairdresser with a huge heart. Because she suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome (ME) her own two children were born by caesarian section. She offered to carry for her sister, which required an embryo transfer in Prague and a tense wait to see if the process worked. Sharon will talk about carrying as an altruistic surrogate for her sister, attitudes of friends and family, the impact on her own life and her relationship now with her niece Lucy
